Our Financial Policy and Insurance Information

Our practice strives to treat our patients with the best possible care under all circumstances. We are committed to offering you a range of treatment possibilities, when appropriate, and can often tailor these options to best fit your needs and wishes.

For those patients who are insured, our knowledgeable business office staff will assist you in obtaining the maximum benefits available to you under the terms of your insurance policy. However, most policies do not cover the full cost of surgical care. They are designed to reduce your out of pocket expenses but not to eliminate them completely.

We are participating members of several insurance companies. We require that you pay any deductibles, co-payment and fees at the time of service as well as any non-covered services. Our business office will be happy to work with you to determine the extent of your insurance coverage and the amount needed on or before your surgical appointment.

Some Important Concepts to Remember about Insurance:

  • Insurance is a contract between you and your insurance provider.
  • Insurance benefits are always subject to review by your carrier.
  • The information that we are given by your insurance carrier is not a guarantee of benefits or payment.
  • Your coverage is limited to the terms of your policy.

Insurance companies often differ in their policies regarding coverage of services that an Oral Surgeons office may provide. For this reason, your policy may require you (the subscriber) to pay nothing, a deductible, co-pay, and co-insurance or may require you to pay for the entire procedure or consultation, depending on the policy language. Please be aware that your policy is a contract between you and the insurance company, not between you and Ryan M. Bailey, D.D.S., M.D. While we will gladly file a claim on your behalf, you are ultimately responsible for charges incurred. If your insurance company does not pay your claim within 60 days, the payment becomes your responsibility.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept cash or personal checks. In addition for those patients who require financing we offer CARECREDIT. CareCredit is a health care credit program offered to patients by an independent company. This allows payment over time, and only takes a few minutes to apply and determine eligibility (our business office can help you apply).

We appreciate the opportunity to care for you, and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions regarding our policy.
